Research interest
My dissertation is focused on economic forecasting with many predictors, applying to equity return prediction and GDP forecast. I'm also interested in education, behavior economics and international trade.
Teaching and reseach experience
As an independent instructor, I have taught two sections of introductory economics (combined micro/macro) ECON 201, government and business ECON 331 and intermediate microeconomics ECON 311.
In summer 2016, I was a research assistant for Dr. Celeste Carruthers on post-secondary enrollment analysis using machine learning technique combined with shrinkage estimations. In 2012-2013, I was a graduate research assistant on environmental economics at Baker Center for Public Policy.
